My daughter and I spent a week being totally spoilt at Marari Dreamz. We had booked the upstairs room with a large private balcony, where we ate all our meals served by Allwyn. He and his wife Jency (who does all the amazing cooking) run a very clean, organized home. They are helped by a team of lovely happy smiling girls. Nothing is too much trouble. We had supper on our balcony the first night and it was SO scrumpcious that we had dinner there every night! Never the same meal twice........and the Keralan spiced vegetables were right up our street. My daughter's favourite food is pancakes and Jency's banana pancakes really were the best! No large hotel restaurant with noisy people elbowing you away from the buffet, just peace and quiet, listening to the birds in our own company. Heavenly! Whenever we needed transport, Allwyn waved his magic wand and it was there! He advised us just what sort of boat we should get in order to see the backwaters from Alleppey, which otherwise would have been quite confusing. We had to leave at 4am on our final day, to drive back to Cochin Airport and Allwyn even got up to bid us farewell. Amazing! We do so hope to return to see our new found friends Allwyn and Jency at their Marari Dreamz before too long.
